Online counselling is a way for any individual to receive confidential and secure support and improve their mental health through the means of secure video or phone technology. For online counselling to be feasible, one must have access to a secure internet connection, webcam, and/or private phone line.
Who is online counselling a good fit for?
Online counselling is ideal for most clients, particularly those who may have a busy schedule, travel a lot, encounter health impediments that may prevent them from seeking face-to-face therapy, find it difficult to leave their home, or are in a place where the therapeutic services they require are not available. Not all mental health concerns are suitable for online counselling. Please schedule a free consultation to see if online counselling is the right fit for you.
Verity Counselling uses a secure video platform that is PHIPA compliant and follows the recommendations of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario for electronic practice.

50-MINUTE INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING SESSION $150.00 (PLUS HST)
60-MINUTE COUPLES COUNSELLING SESSION $170.00 (PLUS HST)
80-MINUTE INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING SESSION PLEASE INQUIRE
GROUPS, WORKSHOPS & PRESENTATIONS PLEASE INQUIRE
These fees cover the cost of the session, research and preparation time, continuing professional education, professional certification, and operational costs.

INSURANCE
Some extended health care plans and insurance companies will cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Please be sure to check your plan prior to your first visit. Riley does not directly bill insurance plans but will provide a receipt to submit for reimbursement.
CANCELLATION POLICY
48-hours notice for cancelling a session is required. Should you provide less than 48-hours notice, you will be responsible for the full session fee.
